<p>The Farmville Central Jaguars ended the South Granville Vikings perfect season with an overtime victory. Here's a look at the 7 standouts from the game. </p>
<h5>Senior Guard [player_tooltip player_id="833306" first="Samage" last="Teel"] - Farmville Central</h5>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="833306" first="Samage" last="Teel"] was impressive in Farmville Central’s victory at the lead guard spot with 19 points, five rebounds, five assists and two steals. Teel held things down for the Jaguars especially in the second half with Wright in foul trouble. He did well guarding Pettiford down the stretch and was a key reason for their victory.</p>
<h5>Junior Forward [player_tooltip player_id="838031" first="Leontae" last="Moye"] - Farmville Central</h5>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="838031" first="Leontae" last="Moye"] was impressive in the frontcourt with 15 points, 10 rebounds, seven blocks ans three assists for the Jaguars. Moye set the tone in the paint with a total of seven blocks (6 in the first half) to deter the Vikings drives to the bucket. His presence player a big role in the Jaguars overtime victory. He’ll be a prospect to keep an eye on in the 2A State Final.</p>
<h5>Senior Guard [player_tooltip player_id="833082" first="Justin" last="Wright"] - Farmville Central</h5>
<p>NC Central bound point guard [player_tooltip player_id="833082" first="Justin" last="Wright"] put up 15 points, six rebounds, three rebounds and an assist in the Jaguars 66-63 overtime win on Saturday night. Wright was a two-way monster on the hardwood for Farmville Central in their big overtime victory. He took on guarding their best player and was successful in defending him, especially on the final possession in regulation. He’ll be hard to stop in the final game next weekend in Chapel Hill. </p>
<h5>Junior Guard [player_tooltip player_id="574409" first="Terquavion" last="Smith"] - Farmville Central</h5>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="574409" first="Terquavion" last="Smith"] stepped up when he needed to down the stretch and got an exclamation point dunk at the end to put his stamp on the game. Smith put up 11 points, six rebounds, two blocks and an assist in a tough defensive battle. The NC State bound junior guard held his own against a top team in the state despite not having his best shooting game. He’s sure to bounce back in Chapel Hill. </p>
<h5>Junior Guard [player_tooltip player_id="838016" first="Bobby" last="Pettiford"] Jr. - South Granville</h5>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="838016" first="Bobby" last="Pettiford"] Jr. led the way for the Vikings with 25 points (18 in the second half), three assists, three steals and two rebounds despite the result. He took things in his own hands down the stretch but missed some chip shots in the paint, an ode Farmville Central’s defense. He still put his stamp on the 2019-20 season as a top guard in the state.</p>
<h5>Senior Guard [player_tooltip player_id="833325" first="Kobe" last="Jones"] - South Granville</h5>
<p>Unsigned senior guard [player_tooltip player_id="833325" first="Kobe" last="Jones"] stepped up big, especially on the glass for the Vikings in the East Region Final. Jones finished with a double-double (10 points and 13 rebounds) and didn’t let foul trouble slow him down too much. He’ll be an unsigned senior that should get some late looks from some college programs as the signing period approaches.</p>
<h5>Senior Guard [player_tooltip player_id="837582" first="Micah" last="Jones"] - South Granville</h5>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="837582" first="Micah" last="Jones"] was another backcourt player that stepped up for South Granville. Jones produced 15 points, four rebounds and two assists despite the result for the Vikings. He hit some big shots in the game including the 3-pointer to tie things up at 58 in regulation with just seconds left in regulation. He’s another unsigned senior guard that should get some looks from a few programs. </p>
