5A Prep Hoops All-State

The amount of players that could have fluctuated across the list is big. There are a lot of guards and wing type players that have an excellent game. From to top to bottom this list of players can compete with and against anyone in the state. There will be a lot of underclassmen that have a bright future ahead of themselves in 5A. MVP 6’10 Zach Visentin (Springville High School) Zach was a man amongst men. Zach got up and down the court all year and he was tough to stop when he had position on the block. He was able to hit big shots on one end and he was able to protect the rim on the other end when it mattered most. 1st Team All- Prep Hoops PG- 6’2 Taft Mitchell (Orem High School) 23.8 PPG Taft can score from anywhere on the floor. Tough to stop. SG- 6’4 [player_tooltip player_id="755542" first="Jake" last="Howe"] (Woods Cross High School) 15.6 PPG He turned from a shooter to a complete player. G- 6’6 [player_tooltip player_id="543055" first="Andre" last="Mulibea"] (East High School) 24.1 PPG One of the best most versitle players in the state. W- 6’8 [player_tooltip player_id="755620" first="Jaden" last="Brownell"] (Alta High School) 19.4 PPG His skill around the basket along with his footwork continue to improve. F- 6’8 Jake Wahlin (Timpview High School) 13.8 PPG Can shoot and beat you off the dribble with size. 2nd Team All- Prep Hoops PG- 6’2 [player_tooltip player_id="543077" first="Noa" last="Gonsalves"] (Lehi High School) 19.6 PPG One of the top breakout players in the state. SG- 6’3 [player_tooltip player_id="543036" first="Cameron" last="Chism"] (Bountiful High School) 15.3 PPG One of the top shooters in the state. G- 6’4 [player_tooltip player_id="934472" first="Collin" last="Chandler"] (Farmington High School) 18 PPG One of the most electric guards and he is a sophomore. W- 6’6 [player_tooltip player_id="755541" first="Tyler" last="Roberts"] (Woods Cross High School) 12.9 PPG Crafty left hander that can score inside and out. F- 6’5 [player_tooltip player_id="755611" first="Robert" last="Whaley"] (Bountiful High School) 20.3 PPG A position-less player that continue to refine his skill. 3rd Team All- Prep Hoops PG- 6’0 [player_tooltip player_id="755567" first="Paul" last="Terry"] (Springville High School) 11.4 PPG Major IQ and ability to make others better around him. SG 6’1 [player_tooltip player_id="755536" first="Will" last="Harris"] (Wasatch High School) 18.4 PPG Quick shooting guard that has range. G- 6’1 [player_tooltip player_id="543032" first="Brox" last="Ashby"] (Hillcrest High School) 18.8 PPG A hardnose guard that always finds a way. W- 6’6 [player_tooltip player_id="755626" first="Jackson" last="Holcombe"] (Timpview High School) 15 PPG This kid can light it up. Great size and all-around skill. F- 6’7 [player_tooltip player_id="755619" first="Parker" last="Buchanan"] (Box Elder High School) 16 PPG Strong smart player on the blocks. Nice midrange game as well.
