With these, we want to highlight 3 players who are similar in class and position. Get some time to dive into some quick thoughts, stat breakdowns, and film. Today, we are looking at 2021 Small Forwards in Coleman Sater, Brooks Barnhizer Brooks Barnhizer 6'5" | SF Lafayette Jeff | 2021 State #203 Nation IN , and Chris Mantis Chris Mantis 6'6" | SF Lowell | 2021 State IN .
Colman Sater – 6’4 SF 2021 – Edgewood (IN)
Stats: 16.8 ppg, 8.5 rpg, 2.5 apg
Thoughts: Sater has a “bruiser mentality” in his play and one could argue that he may play a little out of position. He plays more of a post forward than a traditional wing forward. Loves to drive and does it with great toughness. His jumper is solid but am curious to see if he uses it more in the summer and in his senior season. Speaking of his senior season, there is a real good chance that he averages a double-double in points and rebounds. Sater is the type of player that every coach should want on their team just on his toughness and willingness to outwork every other player on the floor alone. Expect him to gather some offers this off-season.

– 6’5 SF 2021 – Lafayette Jeff (IN)
Stats: 20.8 ppg, 9.5 rpg, 4.6 apg
Thoughts: Brooks is a tall wing that handles the ball very well and gives you skill all over the floor. Has an excellent jumper and was just one more rebound away from averaging a double-double this past high school season. One of the more underrated parts of his game is his passing as he is good at locating his teammates and getting the best offensive look they can. Would like to see him drive just a tad more in the halfcourt game. Currently has offers from Butler, Evansville, Ball State, Northwestern, Xavier, and others. Barnhizer is one of the best high school prospects in the state and every one should expect a great summer and senior season out of him.

– 6’6 SF 2021 – Lowell (IN)
Stats: 24.8 ppg, 9.0 rpg, 3.5 apg
Thoughts: Mantis is a long, lanky wing that has all the tools in his bag but needs to add some more muscle. Best part of his game is his jumper as he is able to both pull-up and catch-and-shoot extremely well. His driving to the lane is solid but is it is sometime limited do to his strength not being at what it should be. However, he does not shy away from driving as he draws a lot of fouls and gets to the free-throw line a lot. Handles the ball really well and is smart with it. Very agile and that helps him with creating his shot. Currently has offers from Ball State, Valparaiso, Bellarmine among others. Would expect him to gain some more offers this summer and his senior season. Mantis has tons of upside and potential. Will more-than-likely take another step forward to being one of the best small forwards in the state this AAU season.
