With these, we want to highlight 3 players who are similar in class and position. Get some time to dive into some quick thoughts, stat breakdowns, and film. Today, we are looking at 2021 Power Forwards in Langdon Hatton Langdon Hatton 6'9" | C North Harrison | 2021 State IN , Ian Scott Ian Scott 6'7" | PF Plainfield | 2021 State IN , and Jackson Miracle.

– 6’9 PF/C 2021 – North Harrison (IN)
Stats: 16.2 ppg, 10.2 rpg, 2.1 apg, 2.0 bpg
Thoughts: Hatton is a tall forward with some solid athleticism. Had a really good junior year and was able to rack up some offers from Bellarmine Ohio, Ball State, Evansville, Western Kentuky, and plenty of others. His powerful play allows him to be very good rebounder and he plays with great intensity. Best part of his game is when his back is to the basket. On defense, he is solid with wings/forwards and his foot speed is a big part of that. He is in for a huge AAU and senior season. It will be interesting to see how his jumper looks next year.

IN
– 6’7 PF 2021 – Plainfield (IN)
Stats: 8.5 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 2.9 apg
Thoughts: Scott runs the floor really well for his position. His pick-and-roll game is strong as well as his cutting to the basket. The thing that stands out the most for Scott is his athleticism. His vertical and timing of his jumps seem to always be on point. On the defensive end, he does well against any position pretty much. Does not show his jump shot too often so that might be a point of focus for him in AAU. Expecting Scott to have a breakout AAU season along with very good senior year. Keep an eye on Scott because he has a chance to really improve and be one of the better PF’s in the state next season.
Jackson Miracle – 6’4 PF 2021 – Bedford North Lawrence (IN)
Stats: 6.1 ppg, shot 66%
Thoughts: Watched Miracle a lot this year and I can honestly say he is so good at being at the right place at the right time. His baseline jumper is smooth and almost automatic. As smooth as his shot is, he does have the potential to step away from the paint and shoot it from the arc. Real long body and with hardly any meat on his bones so the weight room should be his best friend this spring and summer. Shooting at 66% is an amazing stat and it will be interesting to see if he can duplicate that in his senior year. Miracle is an interesting prospect for sure.
