The performance of the weekend has to go to Westover HS Junior Guard D’Marco Dunn who has been going absolutely crazy this season. He went for 38 points on 16 FGA with 7 made three pointers, HM programs should be dropping in to see him.
Greenfield School 6’7 Forward Trey Pittman followed a 27 point performance Thursday with a 29 point performance on Friday night. Pittman is the perfect type of player that can fit into pick and pop situations as well as playing in the post at times.
Clayton HS Junior G/F BJ Freeman continues his stellar play this year, leading his team to another rivalry win. Freeman dropped 28 Points and pulled down 12 Rebounds which is something that we have seen from him quite often this year.
First Flight HS Senior Guard Dylan Blake has already broken the 2,000 point mark and continues to score at a high level. He dropped 39 Points on Friday night in a big win over Manteo. D2 programs won’t want to miss out as he can be early contributor to a program on that level.
Scotland Christian Junior Guard Brodie Clark went for 33 Points on Friday night at Berean Baptist Academy. He’s #17 in the state in scoring at 26 PPG and has displayed a natural ability to score it a high level.
Trinity Christian Senior Forward Todd Burtt has been playing at a very high level this year and is showing he is worthy of the offers he has. He went for 29 Points on Friday night and has been a huge part of helping Trinity reach a 23-1 mark.
Lumberton HS Senior Guard Jordan McNeill scored 27 points in a win as Lumberton continues to dominate their conference play. McNeill has to be the leading candidate for player of the year and is a perfect prospect for D2 programs.
