Tuesday’s Daily Dive: Andrean gets big win, Gary 21st beats Kouts, Konieczny and Terry go off

<p>Week 13 is underway and we have got a full slate of high school hoops going on this week in Indiana. Let us dive on in and take a look at some highlights of Tuesday’s night of hoops. </p> <p><b>Andrean beats Gary West (Westside)     </b></p> <p>Andrean was projected to be one of the top teams this year in 2A and well, it really has not gone that way sitting at a 10-11 record at the moment. They did, however, snag one of the their biggest wins this season beating Gary West 67-64. 2021 PG <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/nick-flesher/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/nick-flesher/">Nick Flesher</a></a> led the Fighting 59ers in points with 20 and his teammate, 2021 SG <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/ben-jones/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/ben-jones/">Ben Jones</a></a>, added 19 points. Andrean has won their last two games and I am interested to see if they can win their next two games and build some momentum before Sectional. </p> <p><strong>Gary 21st snags road win vs Kouts</strong></p> <p>In one of the most anticipated games of the week, Gary 21st was able to defeat Kouts 93-78. This was a huge game for Kouts to prove some doubters wrong but Gary 21st just had too much talent for them to handle. Florida Atlantic commit <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/johnell-davis/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/johnell-davis/">Johnell Davis</a></a> (Gary 21st) dropped a game-high 38 points in this one. Kouts has gotten a lot of criticism for their easy schedule but it will be interesting to see if they can bounce back from this game. Gary 21st will take on Victory Christian on Saturday.             </p> <p><b>St. Joe's Konieczny and Terry goes off    </b></p> <p>Last night saw St. Joe defeat Elkhart Memorial 88-69. The story of the night was that St. Joe's <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/douglas-konieczny/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/douglas-konieczny/">Douglas Konieczny</a></a> and <strong>Will Terry</strong> both had an amazing night. Notre Dame commit <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/douglas-konieczny/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/douglas-konieczny/">Douglas Konieczny</a></a> was the leading scorer with 31 points. His teammate, 2021 PF <strong>Will Terry</strong>, had a double-double with 22 points and 14 rebounds. St. Joe is one of the best teams in 3A and they should be a favorite in Sectional 19.     </p>
