The Mission:
Positively impact the lives of student-athletes. Through the game of basketball, teach the importance of integrity, the value of hard work, and respect for others. We prepare student-athletes to be the best version of themselves both on and off the court.
The History:
The Texas Tar Heels’ winning track record began in 2003. The program is known as one of the most respected youth sports organizations in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Over 80% of the high school players have gone on to play college ball. The Tar Heels’ emphasis on player development, strong focus on rock-solid fundamentals, team-first style of play and dedicated coaching staff are at the core of their success. They work with each student-athlete to maximize their potential and create opportunities for exposure to college coaches.
2020 Goals:
To continue to work with and develop student-athletes so they are prepared to succeed against the highest level of competition as well as to ensure they have maximum exposure to college coaches.
Why Prep Hoops:
We think the Prep Hoops Circuit is the best option for our student-athletes to receive the kind of exposure we want. It was well run last year and college coaches were present at every event. “The number one reason we chose Prep Hoops this year is that they added a Texas Representative who I believe will objectively promote the players who perform regardless of team affiliations or any other bias”.
