Breven McMullen 6’5 Park Hills Central: The 2020 standout had 16 points and nine rebounds in the victory over Farmington the semifinals. As the top player in the area, he sees all kinds of different defenses. That happened in the championship game when rival North County face-guarded him and teammate Brent Wagner in a triangle-and-two defense. He was held to only three field goal attempts. Instead of forcing the issue, he let his teammates who were left wide open carry the load as the Rebels went on to win the championship.
Clayton Grow 6’6 North County: The 2021 power forward enjoyed a very productive tournament. After scoring 27 points in the quarterfinals against Fredericktown, he scored 14 points in the championship game against rival Park Hills Central. He is a big, strong physical post player who plays a blue-collar game. The lefty posts up strong and puts the ball in the basket in a meat-and-potatoes style that is very effective. When he establishes his position, he will hold it against any defender.
Isaiah Robinson 6’7 Farmington: The 2022 forward is a long and athletic young prospect with a big upside. He makes his biggest impact on the defensive end as a shot blocker. He had five swats in the Knights’ victory over Ste. Genevieve in the third-place game. His combination and athleticism and length enables him to get blocks without fouling. On the offensive end, he attacks the basket well with his long stride which easily covers a lot of space.
Jonah Burgess 6’7 Farmington: The 2021 forward really excels on the golf course as one of the best in the area, but he is also a solid performer on the basketball court as well. He has a strong presence around the basket with his rebounding shot blocking. He is strong and he battles for position inside and he can finish well when called upon to score.
