"Sleepers" can be defined in many ways. They could be a player that may not get the press that they deserve, they could get more looks from scouts and/or college coaches, or have a ton of potential. We will look at some sleepers in the junior class that coaches and fans should definitely be aware of.

Kingsley Perkins (PF, Ann Arbor Huron)

Perkins adds value to his team on both ends. He's a long defender that alters and blocks shots. Perkins is an active rebounder on both ends and must be accounted for every time a shot goes up.

Keontae Barnes (CG, Muskegon Orchard View)

Barnes is a dynamic perimeter player. He has a quick first step which allows him to play downhill. Barnes plays with an aggressive mentality and can create scoring opportunities off the dribble.

Aidan Rubio (SF, Goodrich)

Rubio has a ton of the intangibles needed at the next level. He has the size, strength, and ball skills needed to be a successful college basketball player.

Jake Emerzian (CG, Troy)

Emerzian is just starting to stand out this season. He's always had the talent, but he's putting it all together. In a loaded backcourt, Emerzian has carved out his niche as a do-it-all player on offense and a perimeter stopper on defense.

Lavell Brodnex (SG, Saginaw)

Brodnex may not get the headlines yet because of Saginaw's top notch senior backcourt. The key word being "YET". He's a nice athlete that rebounds well from the perimeter.

Kwesi Henry (CG, Detroit Loyola)

Henry is quietly going about his business. He's a good ball handler that can play on or off the ball. Henry has improved as a scorer this season.

Eric Elizondo (PG, Milford)

You may not see his name in the headlines across the state every week, but that doesn't mean he can't play. Elizondo is a steady floor general that understands what his coach needs from him, and delivers.
