With the state tournament upon us, now is a good time to highlight some players to watch. Here we resume our series by highlighting 10 unsigned seniors to watch from the 2A and 1A classifications respectively.

RAPHAEL ALLEN | SURRATTSVILLE

Allen is a long and rangy guard who can rebound out of his area. Offensively, he is best in transition where he loves to slash into the paint and is a very good finisher around the basket. If Surrattsville hopes to make a run, Allen will need to provide steady offense while also making an impact defensively.

KYREE BANKS | SURRATTSVILLE

Banks is a three-point specialist with a nice in-between game to compliment. He can play with or without the ball and gives good effort defensively. Can he run the show, pick his spots well, make shots and wreak havoc defensively? If so, Surrattsville could be a tough out.

CALEB BOWERS | WILLIAMSPORT

Bowers is a sharpshooter who plays with a high motor. All season long he has produced, and Williamsport will need more of the same from him if they hope to make it to Xfinity. Bowers will shoulder an increased load, and has been doing so since Lincoln Ball suffered a broken foot

MARKEITH FRANKS | GWYNN PARK

Franks is a lefty forward who is an aggressive defender and rebounder. He has good length and brings plenty of toughness to the table. Franks is relentless on the glass and always taking charges. He can also score, especially from the mid-range areas. There's no doubt he will need to be aggressive if GP hopes to make noise.

KEYSHAWN JOHNSON | FAIRMONT HEIGHTS

Johnson is an elite shooter who can fill it up in a hurry. He is also a strong competitor who does his due diligence defensively. Fairmont Heights is considered a 1A favorite and his presence is a huge reason why.

MARKEL NORMAN | FAIRMONT HEIGHTS

Norman is a gritty floor general who runs the show for the Hornets. He knows how to get others involved but can also score when he needs to.

RASHAUDE OHIOKPEHAI | SURRATTSVILLE

Ohio is a physical inside presence who challenges shots, can rebound and ignite the fast break. He is quite skilled w/the ball, has good hands and touch. Needless to say, he will be the go-to-guy and most important piece for Surrattsville if they hope to contend.

ERIC ROWLAND | LACKEY

Rowland is a long-armed wing with a wiry frame. He blocks shots and creates deflections, but can knock down threes in spot-up situations. Anyone needing a big 3-and-D type wing should try to watch him play in the tournament.

DARNELL SNOWDEN | DOUGLASS-PG

Snowden is a left-handed glue guy who defends, can make shots and is sneaky athletic. He takes charges and rebounds but is best when scoring in transition. Snowden's presence on the wing is a huge reason why Douglass is considered a legitimate 1A contender.

CAM TWEEDY | WESTLAKE

A walking double-double, Tweedy is an athletic forward that moves well without the ball, can score efficiently from the mid-range and get to the basket. He is a versatile, rangy defender who plays with a super-high motor. Westlake's hopes will likely rest on his level of production.
