Tyler Medaris, 6’7 F, Middleton
The Sophomore big man is putting up just over 9 points per game and a hair under 6 boards a game for the Southern Idaho powerhouse Middleton. Sharing a front court with 2020 #9 overall prospect, Tyler Robinett, limits opportunity, but it provides time to allow Medaris to continue to develop his overall skill set while learning from one of the best players in the state as Medaris himself becomes one of the top prospects to watch in the upcoming years.
Malachi Bullington, 7’0 C, North Idaho Christian
Bullington has already had a 30-30 game this year. He then had a 23 point, 25 rebound, 15 blocked shots game against the second best team in the league. Bullington is putting up nightly double-doubles for one of the most successful programs in the region. He will add weight with time, but Bullington has already proved himself to be nimble for his height. Able to run the court, finish in a transition, be a force in the paint, and able to knock-down free throws, Bullington has a bright future ahead of him.
Jack Payne, 6’3 F, Boise
Payne is already showing off his versatility for the 5A Boise Braves. Payne is putting up 10.4 PPG, 6 RPG, 2.3 APG, 2.6 Steals, and 1.3 Blocks Per Game. That level of versatility, balance on both sides of the court, and production this early in his career makes Payne a favorite to sit atop this list in the not too distant future. Payne is an incredibly athletic wing with a talent for finishing through contact at the rim.
Cameron Cope, 6’4 C, Coeur d’Alene
Coeur d’Alene High is more known as a football program, but Cope has emerged as an intriguing basketball prospect. A true post defender with room to continuing growing physically. Cope is an impressively athletic big man who is tenacious on the offensive and defensive boards. Additionally, he finishes in transition at the rim with more authority than anyone who I have seen this year.
Bayler Perrin, 5’7 G, Mountain View
The undersized guard for Mountain View packs a scoring punch. Perrin is able to put up points in a variety of ways while competing defensively and on the glass. While Mountain View is having a rough year record wise, Perrin is a bright spot who can improve the program for years to come.
Honorable Mention:
Titus Yearout, 6’1 G, Lapwai
Gage Jones, 6’1 G, Eagle
Jace McKarcher, 5’11 G, Lewiston
Ray Ray Bergerson, 6’0 G, Borah
Jonathan Medonza, 5’6 G, Wilder
