Prospect Spotlight: Isaac LeShore (2020)

<p class="p1">Buhler 2020 wing Isaac LeShore is establishing himself as one of the state’s biggest risers in the 2020 class this season as he has taken his game to new heights this season.</p> <p class="p1">A long, rangy 6’4 wing player, LeShore has helped Buhler open the season 6-2 averaging 20.5 points per game through the early going. He brings a strong inside-out game to the floor with the ability to slash to the basket, rebound at both ends of the floor and takes pride playing within the team concept.</p> <p class="p1">He spent the offseason running with Kansas MTXE and says the experience helped him prepare for his senior season.</p> <p class="p3"><span class="s1">“</span><span class="s2">It went pretty good for me because it made me faster and stronger so playing with  that team really helped me this season,” he said. </span></p> <p class="p5"><span class="s3">He says the summer experience has paid off and a new-look Buhler team has gelled quickly this season.</span></p> <p class="p5"><span class="s3">“This season is going really good, my teammates are good we have no attitudes,” he says. “I’ve been playing really good this season, it’s the best season that I ever have. </span></p> <p class="p5"><span class="s3">“The biggest challenge I have this season is boxing out on free throws but I’m getting better so we can push the ball.”</span></p> <p class="p5"><span class="s3">LeShore says his dad has had the biggest influence on his basketball career to date.</span></p> <p class="p5"><span class="s3">“He pushes me to get better and he knows that I can go somewhere with my talent,” LeShore says.</span></p> <p class="p5"><span class="s3">A fan of former NBA star Kobe Bryant, LeShore says he enjoys watching his focus and intensity.</span></p> <p class="p5"><span class="s3">“I enjoyed watching Kobe Bryant because he is always focused on the game and he’s smart,” LeShore said. “He can shut anyone down on defense and I take that with me for my own game.”</span></p>
