He is a good athlete that can get to the basket on both the right and left side of the basket. The thing that makes Braden different is that he is always looking at getting his teammates involved. He can give you 10 assist and still get you 15-20 points a game.
Teams often times try to go under screens to stay ahead of speedy guards but players like Braden can shoot the 3 ball and keep teams from making him one dimensional.
Braden credits a lot of his success to his High School coach. Braden plays at Skyridge High School and is Coached by Jeff Gardner. “I worked on my shooting a lot. We had three high school tournaments this summer that really helped me and my teammates get a rhythm.”
The Skyridge PG is always looking at getting his teammates involved and he thinks that, that is the key to get his team to the next level.
Braden likes to pattern his game like Clippers SF Paul George who shoots the ball well and gets his teammates involved. Paul George also plays defense and Braden prides himself on playing defense.
Braden has a few Division 1 schools interested in him but he is keeping his options open.
With a group of players that have been playing for each other since 7th grade they look to make a nice run at state now that they’re in 6A.
It isn’t a secret that Region 4 is tough but Braden is ready for the challenge to head to opposing teams schools and playing in hostile environments.
The competition at practice on a daily basis is what gets Braden going. They all want to compete and they all want to win.
Braden’s great size and arm length makes him a tough player to defend, Braden is on one of the teams that should contend for a 6A title.
