Utah Players to Watch at The Tarkanian Classic

With 13 teams making their way towards Las Vegas to take on some of the best teams in the country at The Tarkanian Classic. Utah teams in the past have played well against some of the best teams in the country. 6'8 Carter Welling of Corner Canyon High School The 2021 F is having a breakout year with his impressive play. He recently received and offer from Cal Poly. Could be his first of many Division 1 offers to come if Carter continues to play consistently. 6'5 Trevon Snoody of Skyridge High School Trevon can be classified as a Swiss Army knife on the court. He does a little bit of everything. He is an improved shooter and he ability to require a bigger player to guard him makes him difficult to guard in the perimeter. He can be used as a 3-4 hybrid type player. 6'7 Dyson Koehler of Jordan High School Dyson is a special talent that looks most impressive outside because he creates a lot of pressure on defenses. Look for him to shine against some elite talent out at The Tark. Kid can score at all levels and has great IQ. He makes those around him better. 6'4 Duncan Reid of Skyridge High School Duncan is a competitor. He plays hard at all times. He is an elite shooter and not only from the 3-point line. He is most deadly in the mid-range. His game continues to expand. He is a Division 1 guard and he does hold offers, 6'4 Ethan Langston of Bingham High School Ethan has been having a great senior year. He has been finding different ways to score as he has already had two 30 point games. Could be a find for the right out of state D1 JUCO. 6'6 W Jake Whalin of Timpview High School Jake is an ideal 3 guard. Kid could shoot and rebound. It would be a mistake for him not come home from Vegas without a few offers.
