The high school season has tipped off and standout players are starting to arise. Here, we take a look at some Central Ohio seniors who are not yet signed, but are definitely worthy. Don’t sleep on these players, coaches!

Julian Binford (2020) | 5-9 PG | Eastmoor

Binford is one of the better guards in the Columbus City League and an underrated player in the senior class. Impressive summer where he continued to show off his ability to create space since he’s not the biggest player on the court. So far during the high school season he’s put up 13 points a game and 21 points in a win over Columbus East. Binford is an unsigned senior that could undoubtedly play at the next level somewhere.

Tabias Thompson-Reece (2020) | 6-1 CG | Marion Harding

Thompson-Reece is a multi sport athlete that excels on the hardwood as well as the gridiron. Often handles the ball for Harding, but can work without it as well. Attacks off the dribble and can finish with either hand, as well as a mid-range game. The senior could be a good fit for D3, NAIA, or JUCO programs looking for a player that likes to attack with the ball in his hands. Through three games the combo guard is putting up 12 points a game, active rebounder and facilitator as well.

Henry Walker (2020) | 6-6 WF/PF | Jonathan Alder

Walker is an underrated big in the 2020 class, a solid player for the Pioneers. The senior is an active rebounder with his length that allows him to often tower over other players. Much more athletic than opposing bigs, the forward can finish in transition or score in the post. Gets up and down the court quickly, big time capability to deter shots.

Trevell Adams (2020) | 6-0 PG | Columbus South

Adams is another City League player that isn’t yet signed to the next level, but has a couple division ll offers and more interest. Would be a great fit at the high D2 level. Adams is now the lead guard for South and has thrived in it. South has multiple players to get it done, so the load isn’t on him and he can do other things like bring it on defense and get teammates involved. Through six games the South guard is averaging 13 points. We have seen Adams a couple times over the last month and he has grown a little and will be one of the better division ll prospect’s in the state.

Charles Perkins (2020) | 6-4 PF | Westerville North

Perkins we were able to watch a lot of over the summer and let me tell you he’s one of the toughest players in the area, if not father. Crashes the boards and uses effort that not many players can match. His team isn’t off to a good start, but Perkins has scored in double figures in four of five games for North. Averaging 12 points on the season, Perkins is a legit double double threat every time he takes the floor.
