In this Championship game of the Katy ISD Tournament Gold Bracket between the Katy Morton Ranch Mavericks and the Klein Forest Golden Eagles. This game was a rematch from last year's Katy ISD Title game which went in favor of the Mavericks. Here is my synopsis of the game and the prospects who stood out.

The Golden Eagles of Klein Forest came and jumped out on Morton Ranch to start the game. Dylan Hamilton was a big-time bucket from the top off as he scored the first 8 points to start the game off. The Golden Eagles also knocked down some big trey balls as well. Morton Ranch defense finally got to clicking and they began to cause havoc for Klein Forest forcing a lot of turnovers which led to easy transition buckets. Once LJ Cryer got going it was a good night for the Golden Eagles as the Mavericks of Morton Ranch was able to prevail. Once the gap was closed and Morton Ranch had the lead they didn’t bother looking back and continued to push the pace and cause havoc defensively.
