Patterson Division Teams
Liberty, Park Hill, Lees summit, Winnetonka, Truman, Grandview Christian, Blue Springs, Ruskin
Felix Anudike, 6’4, 2020, Lee’s Summit
Also a standout on the football field, Anudike has great speed and terrific height and the ability to force turnovers and play physical on both ends of the floor. He has a solid frame and can get on the boards and score inside and from the free throw line. Anudike led his team in scoring in the loss to Truman (57-55) Monday with 21 points shooting 80 percent from the floor and hitting 5-7 from the free throw line. He added eight rebounds and looked sharp as a defender and scorer on the block.
Kellen Goodwin, 6’4, F, 2021, Liberty
A player who’s almost always on the floor. Goodwin is a strong and athletic player for his size who brings good energy and can contribute as a defender near the basket and off ball scorer. He hit two 3-pointers and shot 50 percent from the free throw line against Park Hill and finished with 10 points for the game, four blocks and one steal.
Christian Bradford, 6’3, G/F, 2021, Park Hill
Bradford had a strong showing Monday against Grandview Christian, looking to score and rolling the dice when he can. Bradford led scoring for his team with 16 points shooting 70 percent from the field and hit one 3-pointer. Bradford used his fame well and was active inside and looked to be smart and make strong plays.
Jermaine Booker, G, 2020, Liberty
Booker had a huge game in the semifinals against Park Hill, hitting 9-10 from the field. He had 19 points for the game and hit 9-10 from the field and had four rebounds and two steals. He is another extremely active player on and off the ball for Liberty, Booker takes his chances on both sides of the ball and plays fast and physical.
Nyk Bryant, G, 2021, Park Hill
A strong, physical guard who has strong hands and the ability to pick a pocket without getting into foul trouble. He has a good feel for the guard position and has good handles and can use is body to his advantage and stay on his line and absorb contact well.
