Lamontay Daugherty 6’7 Mehlville: The versatile 2020 combo forward showcase all of his skills in leading the Panthers to a victory over Cardinal Ritter in one of the featured games. He finished the game with 23 points and 10 rebounds. He started the game with a 3-pointer from the top of the key and he was rolling from there. He was throwing down transition dunks, hitting short jumpers and scoring on offensive rebounds.
Mario Fleming 6’3 Cardinal Ritter: The 2021 power wing was the event’s top scorer with his 31-point performance against Mehlville. He was making it happen from all spots on the floor. He operated well in the high post against the Panthers zone defense and he also got buckets inside against Mehlville’s trees. Mario also knocked down three :-pointers.
Dylan Branson 6’5 Mehlville: The burly 2020 wing player had an impressive all-around performance in the victory over Cardinal Ritter with 17 points, six rebounds and several nice dimes. He had the :-point stroke working in the first half while also playing bully ball off the dribble. His passing game was on point, with pinpoint dimes off the dribble to open teammates.
Brock Wakefield 6’3 South Iron: The 2021 shooting guard scored a game high 24 points in the victory over Lift for Life. He’s the prototype scoring guard with deep 3-point shooting range and a variety of moves off the dribble. He’s is still slight of build, but he has gotten physically stronger in the past year with improved athleticism.
Drenin Dinkins 5’10 South Iron: The smooth 2022 point guard scored 24 points in a victory over Lift for Life. DD is an excellent offensive player with the ability to get buckets at all three levels. His shooting range is deep and he can also create off the dribble. He will also get into the lane on the dribble going left or right.
Nick Kramer 6’4 SLUH: The thick bodied 2022 wing player scored a season-high 27 points in a loss to a talented Thea Bowman team from Indiana. He displayed his shooting range from well beyond the 3-point line, but he also had some impressive mid range jumpers off the bounce and some nice takes off the dribble.
Barcus Jackson 6’1 Lift for Life: The smooth 2021 shooting guard scored a season-high 27 points against South Iron. He is a very fluid player who moves equally well with or without the basketball. He has a nice stroke from 3-point range as well as the ability to operate in the transition game. He also has quick hands of the defensive end with good anticipation on the press to shoot the passing lanes.
