Charlotte Hoops Challenge: 2021 Standouts

<p>The Charlotte Hoops Challenge had a talented number of junior prospects on display. Here's a look at the 2021 standouts. </p> <h5>Jordan McPhatter, Point Guard, Butler</h5> <p>McPhatter had two solid outings for his Butler High squad in the Charlotte Hoops Challenge. He showed off his ability to knock down shots on the perimeter and get to the rim against both Vance High School and Charlotte Catholic. On Day 1, he put up 18 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the field to go along with six rebounds. He put up 26 points and six rebounds and made six 3-pointers on Day 2 against Charlotte Catholic. He's a junior prospect college programs will want to track.</p> <h5>Trae Benham, Guard/Wing, Concord First Assembly</h5> <p>Benham is a burden to guard on the floor with his 6-foot-3 frame. He's a versatile threat with his ability to finish at the rim and make plays for others. Benham posted 12 points, seven rebounds and three assists and turned rebounds into offense on a number of occasions against Independence. He holds offers from Winthrop and North Florida.</p> <h5>Javian Cannady, Point Guard, Concord First Assembly</h5> <p>Cannady is a lengthy and athletic point guard that was another top performer on Concord First Assembly. He put up nine points, doing a little bit of everything on the floor for his squad as they got a key win over as tough Independence squad. He's got good upside in the Concord First backcourt and is an underrated athlete. </p> <h5>Cedric Patterson, Point Guard, United Faith</h5> <p>Patterson had a strong game as the lead guard for United Faith Christian Academy, though the final result didn't go their way. He poured in 22 points to go along with six steals, four assists and four rebounds against The Burlington School. He's a quick point guard that gets to his spots on the floor with relative ease. He's a player colleges will want to track. </p> <h5>Jarvis Moss, Wing, Cannon School</h5> <p>Moss had a productive game in the final game of the night for Cannon School. He finished with 19 points, three assists and a big steal and dunk that put his squad up for good in a pivotal fourth quarter. He's a prospect that shoots it with confidence from behind the arc. He made five 3-pointers in their 78-72 victory over Ardrey Kell. So far, he holds offers from Buffalo, Rider, Alcorn State, Samford and Houston Baptist.</p> <h5>Omarion Bodrick, Forward, Independence</h5> <p>Bodrick is a forward with tons of potential around the rim. When he's locked in, he's a burden on both ends with his ability to alter shots on one end and finish at the rim on the other. He finished with 10 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and two blocks for Independence in the Charlotte Hoops Challenge. As he buys into getting stronger in the weight room, he's an impact player to keep an eye on. He holds offers from UNC-Greensboro, Winthrop, Charleston Southern, North Carolina A&amp;T, USC-Upstate and Rider. </p> <h5>Jalen Hinton, Guard, Independence</h5> <p>Hinton showed off his confidence as an outside shooter for Independence, knocking down three 3-pointers and putting up 12 points to go along with two steals and two assists. As he finds his way in the rotation, he's a combo guard with the ability to make an impact in the rotation.  </p>
