The Cap 7 Conference is already off to a quick start, especially at the top. Here's a look at the first edition of the season power rankings.

1. Millbrook Wildcats (4-0)

The Millbrook Wildcats are unbeaten in Cap7 play at 4-0 and undefeated on the season at 11-0. With 2021 big man Will Felton leading the way in the frontcourt (20.6 ppg, 11.5 rpg, 2.0 bpg), they're a squad that's looking to return to the 4A State Playoffs and do damage once again. They'll be a team to watch in this year's John Wall Holiday Invitational.

2. Leesville Road Pride (3-1)

Leesville Road was close to pulling off a win on the road against Millbrook this past Tuesday but they came up just short. As their only loss, the Pride should be a tough out in the return game against the Wildcats. 2021 guard Carter Whitt is a prospect that's fun to watch with high-major offers from colleges already.

3. Sanderson Spartans (2-1)

The Spartans are a competitive bunch led by seniors Kamon Green, Keyon Mckoy and Tylan Green. While Green and Mckoy wreak havoc in the backcourt, Tylan Green is a prospect that can attack the basket and play above the rim. They hold a loss to Leesville Road but have beaten Enloe and Cardinal Gibbons.

4. Enloe Eagles (2-2)

The Enloe Eagles are a young squad that won just one conference game in 2018-19. They've already overachieved from last season with a 2-2 record and led by a mix of experienced and young players, the Eagles are a team that should surprise some teams this season. Ta'Shaud Alexander (2020) and Mekhi Williams-Henry (2021) are two players to keep an eye on in their backcourt.

5. Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs (0-2)

The Bulldogs are one of three teams that remain without a win in Cap 7 action. It's sure to change soon though, especially for Southeast Raleigh. They dropped their last game in conference play to Enloe by three points.

6. Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (0-3)

Cardinal Gibbons has an overall record of 4-5 but they remain winless in conference action at 0-3. They've faced Millbrook, Leesville Road and Sanderson, so given they've had to face the Top 3 teams in the power rankings already, things could be worse for them. They won't be at the bottom of the standings by the end of 2019-20.

7. Broughton Capitals (0-2)

The Broughton Capitals are the last of the winless teams in Cap 7 action and at just 1-7 on the season, it could be a rough 2019-20 campaign for them. They're a young team that could be in for a long season in conference play.
