Helias was the winner of the 3rd place game over Lafayette and host school Parkview won the consolation bracket, knocking off Newcastle (OK). Here is a list of some of the top shooters from the event:
- 6’2 So Elijah Whitley (Parkview) has a quick trigger and buried some threes in critical moments for the Vikings
- 6’1 Sr Nakai Johnson (Parkview) is a known commodity from beyond the arc. While he has expanded his game, he proved to still be a legit threat from three.
- 6’5 Jr Aaron Franklin (Raytown) appears to have the complete package. When he was lost in transition or his defender helped on drives, he was automatic from distance
- 6’4 Sr Ryan Campbell (Lafayette) showed off deep range and the unique ability to create separation off the bounce and elevate over defenders with his jumper
- 6’5 Jr Drew Behl (Lafayette) has good size and length on the wing and a quick, fluid release. Very good coming off screens or spotting up for drive and kick opportunities
- 6’0 Sr Elijah Bridgers (Kickapoo) took over at times against Lafayette. Really smooth pull-up jumper. Lethal mid-range that extends out to the perimeter
- 6’2 Jr Anton Brookshire (Kickapoo) elite level shooter with NBA range that can pull-up at any moment and fill it up from deep in a variety of ways
