Game 1: Gibbs 66, Admiral Farragut 47
Game 2: Lakewood 63, Hillsborough 58
Here is a look at the top performers from the evening.
Jamille Reynolds (Lakewood)
Starting off the game with a two-handed slam, 2020 6’10” Lakewood center Jamille Reynolds (UCF commit) was active on both ends of the floor. He had three more dunks in the win over Hillsborough and used his size to dig deep in the third quarter and score inside and draw contact to get to the free throw line. He finished with a team-high 17 points which included a lay-in with just over a minute left to put his side ahead by five, 58-53.

Marcus Lloyd (Gibbs)
The top scorer between the two matchups, 2020 6’4” Gibbs forward Marcus Lloyd not only had 20 points to carry his team to victory, but he was all over the boards. He can shoot well for an undersized five man and he was catching fire at times from deep.
Injury Update: 2020 6’ guard Tre Gilliam has been out since June, but told me after the game that he’ll be back before Christmas. The senior is a pure scorer and was in very good spirits when I chatted with him. Gilliam is a difference makers and one of the top scoring guards to watch in the Tampa Bay/St. Pete area.
Cantia Rahming (Hillsborough)
The high scorer in the final game of the night, 2020 6’5” Hillsborough forward Cantia Rahming had a breakout first half with 11 points. He finished the evening with 19 points and all of his baskets were more important than the next. Rahming uses his length well and is deceivingly quick and instinctive with the ball in his hands.
Elijah Jackson (Lakewood)
Shooting is 2020 6’2” guard Elijah Jackson’s top asset. He netted 15 points in the win and all of the points were needed. He opened the night with two huge 3’s in front of the Hillsborough bench. Jackson ended it with four clutch free throws to seal the win.
Marcus Calvin, Bryce Brown & Chris Levy (Gibbs)
It is hard to pick a better performer than the other in this trio as 2023 6’1” guard/forward Marcus Calvin (16 points) played an impressive game with key jumpers and takes to the rim. 2020 6’1” guard Bryce Brown (14 points) displayed plenty of improved strength. Brown hit a 3 to beat the third quarter horn with a defender draped all over him. Lastly, 2021 6’2” guard/forward Chris Levy (14 points) was superb from outside and plays so hard.
Tyriq James & Justin Anderson (Hillsborough)
Combining for 20 points, 2020 6’3’ guard Tyriq James (11 points) had some tough 3’s fall for him and 2022 6’1” guard Justin Anderson (9 points) gave a ton of energy and weaving ability offensively. 2021 6′ guard Jalen Harris also added six points and was very active as a defender and pusher in transition.
Oteman Delancy & Santana Bolton (Lakewood)
The shots weren’t falling like usual for 2021 6’5” guard Oteman Delancy (10 points) but he kept battling and had some key buckets down the stretch. As for 2020 6’4” guard Santana Bolton (11 points), the transfer from Northeast was hot early from deep and fit into this offense well.
Kamrin Oriol (Admiral Farragut)
2022 6’ guard Kamrin Oriol is a lightning rod for the Admiral Farragut offense. He is super aggressive, controls the tempo and likes to get his side going. Oriol finished with a team-best 14 points in the loss to Gibbs and quite frankly was the most active and decisive player for the Blue Jackets.
