Lee’s Summit (9-17, 3-9), Liberty (11-16, 4-8), Liberty North (14-13, 7-5), Park Hill South (18-8, 8-3), St. Joseph Central (13-11, 8-3), Staley (12-14, 6-6), Truman (13-13, 5-7)
Kyan Evans, 5’9, G, 2022, Staley, MoKan Elite 2022
A nice player on the rise who shows a lot of potential. He can create paths with his dribble and stays close to opponents and looks for gaps and breakdowns to expose. He can connect from deep and is a good passer with eyes for the game.
Lavar Felder, 6’3, G, 2021, St Joe Central, MoKan 2021
A wing player who has good size and can make plays on both ends of the floor. He can play scrappy and loose and looks to get tips and force turnovers. He has a real perimeter game and shows the frame that can add strength and muscle as he ages.
Connor Robertson, 6’3, G, 2020, Park Hill South (Mo.), KC Pacers
A shooter with a quick release who knows how to dial in his shot and make an impact when the game is lacking an outside presence. Robertson can get his shot off from several feet behind the line and shows good size and a slashing ability as well.
Javin Shaw, 6’3, G, 2021, Liberty, Marcus Denmon Select
Shaw can rebound well for his size and plays a nice physical game when it’s needed. He’s a high IQ player who can make impactful plays on both ends of the floor. He runs well and is quick to pass and makes smart decisions with the ball in his hands. We look for him to score and show a strong defensive nature as well.
Jamaal Davis, 6’6, 2021, Staley, KC Premiere Blue Chips 16U
A long player with good size and the ability to get up and make plays. He plays on the wing and looks to catch and shoot or catch and pass inside and can slash and make plays in the paint. He can score overtop of opponents and can step back and knock down a contested jumper.
Benn Kaplan, 6’3, G/F, 2020, Liberty North
A streaky shooter who has good length and can light up a game when he gets going. He has good vision and can tip the ball to his teammates and cause some problems on the defensive end. He runs the floor well and is good at finding separation and scoring quickly after the catch.
