<p><em>Basketball season is just about upon us as jamborees are beginning. Here’s a look at Part 1 of the 2020 standouts from the Phenom HS Jamboree.</em></p>
<h5>Justice Ajogbor - Christ School - Power Forward/Center</h5>
<p>Ajogbor showed why he's such a highly-rated prospect with his mobility, length and skills around the rim on both ends. He's got a strong frame for his size at 6-foot-9, 250 pounds and is due to terrorize the Ivy League at Harvard at the next level.</p>
<h5>Zachary Bessette - Central Cabarrus - Guard</h5>
<p>Bessette filled it up at the Jamboree as his team’s primary scorer and showed off as a threat off the dribble. He does well to get to the rim and the free throw line with his size at 6-foot-4. He’ll be one to watch at Central Cabarrus. </p>
<h5>James Maguek - Calvary Day - Power Forward/Center</h5>
<p>Maguek is a new face in the Calvary Day rotation and what stood out most was his 7-foot height and motor. He was rocking a knee brace but he showed great movement running the floor and protecting the paint. He had a number of big blocks and rebounds that made folks take notice. He’ll be a senior prospect to keep track of.</p>
<h5>Garret Hien - Concord First Assembly - Forward</h5>
<p>Hien was a mismatch problem all day long for Concord First Assembly. He’s a versatile prospect at 6-foot-9 that can score on all three levels and finish above the rim. Furman is getting quite the prospect after this season.</p>
<h5>Cheick Traore - Concord First Assembly - Power Forward/Center</h5>
<p>Traore is a traditional big man prospect that does it all in the paint. On offense, he was a burden to defend in the post. On defense, he flew around blocking shots and securing rebounds. Youngstown State is another program getting quite the prospect at the next level.</p>
<h5>Aymeric Toussaint - Freedom Christian - Power Forward/Center</h5>
<p>Touissant is a versatile big man to watch at 6-foot-10 at Freedom Christian. He’s a prospect that showed off quite the abilities as a rim runner, paint protector and rebounder. He’s got nice length and athleticism on both ends and showed flashes as an inside-out threat.</p>
<h5>Whit Trevey - Greensboro Day - Guard</h5>
<p>Trevey is a role player for Greensboro Day that gets after it on both ends. He can knock down the 3-ball with efficiency and defends with aggression. He’s a prospect that should do well at the next level with the right fit.</p>
<h5>Kalib Matthews - Henderson Collegiate - Guard</h5>
<p>Matthews is an instant offense guy that’s going to be quite the steal for Queens University. He can score from anywhere on the floor and should pose as a solid threat at the 1A level at Henderson Collegiate.</p>
<h5>Dejuante “Tay” Williams - Liberty Heights - Wing/Forward</h5>
<p>Williams is an impressive versatile prospect that can play multiple positions on the floor. At 6-foot-8, he possesses length and guard skills that allow him to operate on the wing and in the post. He’s a guy that rebounds and gets out on the break looking to play above the rim. He’s one of a few prospects on the Liberty Heights roster. </p>
<h5>Kahari Rogers - Liberty Heights - Guard/Wing</h5>
<p>Rogers is a 6-foot-6 wing with a physically imposing frame and quite the versatile skillset. He can knock it down with range from behind the arc and finish above the rim. He’s a sleeper prospect college coaches should track on this roster. North Carolina A&T and Hofstra have offered already.</p>
<h5>Kamryn Edwards - Liberty Heights - Guard</h5>
<p>Edwards is slowly emerging as a threat from all three levels. He showed off his ability to get hot from the perimeter and get to the rim off the dribble. He’s another guard due for a strong season at Liberty Heights.</p>
