The high school season is coming up quick and like always, the Metro Indy Fall League is a great place to find out how some players and teams might sort out. Today, we have our look at some of the top players from the event as we take a dive into the 2020 prospects from this past Sunday.

Tony Perkins - 6’4 SG 2020 - Lawrence North (IN)

Tony just picked up his first high-major offer and followed that up with a stellar performance and energy that looked like he belonged. The best thing about Tony is that he always plays with the same energy and skill each game out. On Sunday, he looked better and more aggressive in every area. He was attacking the rim and finishing with authority. His jumper was on and while he does need to make it more of his game, it is still there. Maybe the best version of him that I have seen so far.

Isaac Farah - 6’9 C 2020 - Fishers (IN)

Isaac is a big, thick post player who just transferred from Cathedral (IN) to Fishers (IN). He has taken some big steps in the last year and even just from the summer. He’s bigger, stronger, and more assertive in the post. He’s a capable shooter and a guy that can stretch the floor but his post game was what was impressive. He ran the floor well and had a couple plays at the rim. Need to watch one more time but looks like he could be a breakout guy this winter.

Rickie Wedlow - 6’0 PG 2020 - Mt. Vernon-Fortville (IN)

Rickie is a solid combo guard who can shoot it pretty well. His jumper looks a bit better with a good release point right now. He has lightened up the frame and has a tick more speed to him. Still tends to lead himself to shoot more than drive but does play with a little tempo so in the right system, he can be very effective.

Victor Young - 6’2 SG 2020 - Muncie Central (IN)

Victor had some big games, dropping 30 in the first game of the day. He has a really good motor and showed the same thing he has all year long, shooting, scoring, and some defense. He’s still much more of a driver, needing to maybe improve that jumper just a bit and be a little more aggressive looking to score, but his efficiency has always been pretty solid.

Dylan Stafford - 6’3 SG 2020 - Muncie Central (IN)

Dylan is a big time shooter and high-academic prospect who put up some numbers on the day. Had 45 in two games. His athleticism looks pretty good right now and has some really good touch on that jumper so if you leave him even remotely open, it is going in. He has the frame you want to see for this age with his height and weight being ready for the college level.

Elijah Yarber - 6’6 PF 2020 - Rochester (IN)

Elijah is a mobile post player who seemed to make plays quite a bit. He had a really nice up-and-under that showed that athleticism a bit. He’s not going to be a big scoring threat but could see it drawn out more in him down the road. Rebounding was solid as he can get to the ball pretty well. Mixed it up with Curt Hopf and was able to match up with him down low decently well. He’s a bit better as a perimeter defender on a guy that likes to stay on the wing and shoot than a driver.

Sean Barksdale - 6’3 SF 2020 - Hamilton Southeastern (IN)

Sean is a physically built wing who was great on the boards and in the paint. Slashed really well and can be kind of a pain to defend when he puts his head down. Had some real creativity in his game with a floater and a little right-handed runner across the lane. He’s a little undersized for his natural position but he has more strength than most and enough length to make up for it. Could be a dynamic player at the right level.
