<p><em>With the high school season right around the corner, here's a look at some breakout candidates in the 2020 class.</em></p>
<h5>Quandre Bullock - 6'3 - Guard - Word of God</h5>
<p>One of the most electric players in the 2020 class is 6-foot-5 guard <strong>Quandre Bullock</strong>. He's ranked 57th in the most recent PrepHoops North Carolina 2020 Rankings. Bullock is a combo guard that can get hot in a hurry shooting the ball from the perimeter and also quite the athletic dunker with the ball off the dribble drive. He's a prospect that can jump out the gym and continues to draw interest from various college programs.</p>
<h5>Trent McIntyre - 6'5" - Guard - Piedmont Classical</h5>
<p><strong>Trent McIntyre</strong> is a player at Piedmont Classical to keep an eye on in 2019-20. He's ranked No. 83 in the PrepHoops North Carolina rankings with tons of room to grow this season. He can do a little bit of everything as a combo guard with his size at 6-foot-5. He's a prospect that can grow into a sleeper prospect in this class by the end of the season. He already holds offers from Mount Olive and UVA-Wise.</p>
<h5>Kameron Brooks - 6'2 - Shooting Guard - Henderson Collegiate</h5>
<p><strong>Kameron Brooks</strong> is a shooting guard in the 2020 class that's currently ranked No. 88 in the PrepHoops North Carolina rankings. He's a three-level scoring guard that brings tons of energy to the floor on both ends. He's more than just a shooting guard with his ability to defend the basketball and create havoc on the defensive end with his length as well. He'll be a player to watch at Henderson Collegiate this season.</p>
<h5>Isaac Parson - 6'0 - Guard - Kinston</h5>
<p><strong>Isaac Parson</strong> is an emerging point guard prospect in the 2020 class. He's ranked No. 129 in the PrepHoops North Carolina rankings and has climbed the radar over the past few months with his growing strength and ability to make plays with the ball in his hands. He can score on all three levels and plays alongside 2021 four-star prospect, <strong>Dontrez Styles</strong>. He'll be a player to keep an eye on at Kinston High School along some other solid senior guards.</p>
<h5>Davidson Hubbard - 6'5 - Forward - Ardrey Kell</h5>
<p><strong>Davidson Hubbard</strong> has been a growing name in the 2020 class over the past few months. He had a strong showing at the PrepHoops Top 250 Expo as a versatile forward with his solid footwork in the post and shooting ability on the perimeter. He's a prospect that keeps things simple on both ends of the floor and due for a strong senior campaign at Ardrey Kell.</p>
<h5>Jeremiah Baker - 5'10 - Point Guard - Apex Friendship</h5>
<p><strong>Jeremiah Baker</strong> is a senior point guard due for a strong senior season at Apex Friendship High School. Baker is ranked 141 in the PrepHoops North Carolina rankings and plays alongside 2020 guard Jayden Beloti and NC State commit Nick Farrar. He's an explosive guard that's unstoppable going to the rim. He's very athletic and useful on both ends with his strength and quickness. As he learns to play above the rim, he's a prospect with tons of room to grow in this class.</p>
<h5>Sabastian Haidera - 6'0 - Guard - Hoggard</h5>
<p><strong>Sabastian Haidera</strong> is a combo guard that's not ranked at all heading into the high school season but that could change with a strong senior campaign. Haidera emerged this summer and fall as a tough competitor that can defend, distribute and shoot the ball on all three levels. He's shown solid growth with the ball in his hands and does well to make good things happen when the ball touches his hands.</p>
<h5>Cason Pierce - 6'5 - Forward - Greensboro Day</h5>
<p><strong>Cason Pierce</strong> is another unranked name in the PrepHoops North Carolina 2020 rankings. He's in the rotation over at Greensboro Day School with a chance to play a vital role. He's a versatile forward with nice frame and size at 6-foot-5. He can extend the floor with his 3-point shot and can play a big role in the frontcourt this season with a strong backcourt already. </p>
