Christian Shumate (Bloom)
Shumate is the best dunker in the state and I’m not sure it’s really close. Top 20 senior is human highlight reel!
Martice Mitchell (Bloom)
Mitchell is a big man that has pogo stick type jumping ability around the hoop and catching lobs.
Keshawn Williams (Bloom)
The third Bloom product on our list is Williams. Combo guard that has explosive hops!
Aquan Smart (Niles North)
Smart elevated his game and a big reason for that is his above the rim athleticism.
Caleb Zurliene (Breese Mater Dei)
The southern Illinois two guard throws down some impressive reverse dunks in warm ups and games.
RJ Ogom (Homewood Flossmoor)
Powerful post that finishes with force around the hoop.
Aaron Tims (Hinsdale South)
Bouncy four man that is so quick off the ground throwing down jams.
Lashawn Johnson (East St. Louis)
Johnson is a high level athlete from the metro east that had several huge dunks on the PrepHoops Circuit.
Damontae Taylor (Zion Benton)
Long and lanky lefty soars in transition throwing down huge jams!
Jimarius Sneed (Crane)
Sneed is a straight line slasher that finishes with power above the rim.
Moory Woods (Alton)
Woods is a quick twitched two guard that has bounce!
Jo Green (Marian Catholic)
Green is probably the smallest guard on this list, but he is a dynamic athlete and fun to watch. Has BallisLife Scott’s stamp of approval.
Brandon Weston (Morgan Park)
Explosive two guard in 2021 that rises above the rim with ease for slams.
Tevin Smith (Danville)
Smith is coming back from an injury, but before that he was one of the best dunkers in the class with his athleticism and strength.
Quani Rudd (Mt. Vernon)
Rudd is a high level athlete that has put on some epic shows above the rim!
Khailieo Terry (Champaign Central)
Terry might be second on this list only behind Shumate. The rest of his game needs to round out, but his high flying ability is unquestioned!
