Top Bigs: Top 250 Expo

<p>The 2019 Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo saw over 200 of Florida’s hoopers looking to perform at their highest in-front of college coaches, scouts, and media outlets. Take a look at some of the top big men from the Expo in the classes of 2020 &amp; 2021.</p> <p><br /> <strong>Alijah Kuehl - Bartram Trail 2021:</strong> Standing at 6’9”, it was tough for ANYONE to get around this guy or box him out. He stood his ground in the paint, and did an awesome job on the rebounding glass. Kept the ball high as he snagged them off the glass. Should be a walking double-double.</p> <p><br /> <strong>Bryce Turner - Sandalwood 2021:</strong> Turner may be the shortest to make this list at 6’5”. However, he played so beyond his height, that I couldn’t overlook it. If Sandalwood goes small, he should play the five, without question. He made some incredible blocks at the rim throughout his games, and finishes well around the cup, as well. Not afraid to get in there &amp; battle for offensive rebounds and putbacks.</p> <p><br /> <strong>Stephen Martin - Bishop Moore 2020:</strong> It’s hard to ignore how much of a force this guy is when it comes to shot-blocking. He just never gave up on the play, whether at the rim, or if they were shooting a three from the corner. Martin absolutely wowed when it came to this.</p> <p><br /> <strong>Craig Starks - Miami Beach Senior 2021:</strong> Mentioned him earlier in my “2020-21 Stock Risers” piece, but he’s a good enough big man to mention twice. Starks couldn’t be denied on the offensive rebounding circuit, and did a great job of going right back up for the quick putback. Tough guy to stop from scoring in the paint.</p> <p><strong>Brent Reid - Sunlake 2020:</strong> Reid was one of three tallest in the field at 6’10”, and despite being one of the thinner bigs, he played well against some strong competition. Runs the floor well in-transition, can finish the break after his PG’s feed the ball to him below the free-throw line. Can tell he’s a thinker on the floor.</p>
