Top 250 Expo: Wings in Attendance

The PrepHoops Oregon Top 250 takes place on Sunday, September 22 and top players from the Classes of 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 will be in participation at Parkrose High School in Portland. In the gym will be some of the state's top wings - here's a quick look at the top guys who have signed up so far and are expected to be in attendance.

Kaelan O'Neil (2020 Churchill)

O'Neil is the only player at the event who has already committed to a Division I school (Eastern Washington). The 6-foot-5 senior is a big-time competitor who attacks the basket with reckless abandon. He's a candidate for the top-ranked player in the Class of 2020 and a big-time performance at the Expo may earn him that honor.

Brian Goracke (2020 Churchill)

No player made as much of a rise this summer than Goracke, who is one of the select few with a Division I offer at the Expo (from UMKC). An athletic performer who has improved on his overall offensive game, how others are measured may be based upon how they compete against him.

Jack Chlumak (2020 Lake Oswego)

Chlumak is a versatile wing who can also handle the ball and play some at the point. Well-built at 6-foot-3 with more room to fill out, he's worked hard to become more of a threat with his perimeter shooting.

Erik Fraser (2020 Grant)

Fraser may be one of the more underrated wing players in the entire state. The 6-foot-3 senior can stroke it from the outside but has improved on his ability to attack the hoop. Fraser already possesses an offer from OIT.

Keegan Shivers (2020 Wilsonville)

Shivers is a versatile wing/forward who does a lot of the little things to help win games. The 6-foot-4 senior has also started to emerge as an offensive threat. He recently earned his first offer from OIT.

Jacob Tompkins (2020 Summit)

Tompkins is not only one of the top perimeter shooters in the class, he's also one of the top high-academic recruits. The 6-foot-4 senior also gained a lot of experience playing at the point this summer.

Nzube Mekkam (2020 Mountainside)

Mekkam has tremendous length and has the potential to be a stopper on defense. He missed much of the summer due to injury and an impression here at the combine could give him the right boost going into the season.

Dakota Sams (2021 Pendleton)

Sams often gets overlooked because he plays in the Eastern part of the state. But the 6-foot-2 junior can really stroke it from beyond the arc and he'll get a chance to show his stuff on Sunday.
