#PHTop250 Standouts

<p>Continuing on with our coverage of this year's Washington Top 250 Expo, it is now time to give some different players some much needed acknowledgement for their performance over the weekend. These players range in age and projected college fit, but they are recruitable athletes nonetheless. </p> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Top 250 Expo Standouts:</strong></span></p> <p>2020 6'2 G <strong>Jace Barrett</strong> (Rogers HS) - One of the best shooters in the event without a doubt. Jace can shoot it from well beyond the three point line and he does so with confidence. The lefty guard can make plays off the bounce and he showed some crafty finishes in the paint. Jace is a recruitable kid, it is just a matter of what level will he ultimately end up at. </p> <p>2021 6'6 SF <strong>Joe Cookson</strong> (Seattle Academy) - Smooth wing player with nice footwork in the mid-post area. Joe has a solid pull up jumper and he finishes with finesse around the basket. While he is not an explosive athlete, Joe has a way of getting things done. The next step for him is continuing to add strength and work on his body to prepare for the next level. </p> <p>2021 6'3 SF <strong>Chike Ezeonu</strong> (Seattle Prep HS) - Chike has really improved in his skill set and understanding of the game over the course of the last couple years. He has a solid handle and he can make some athletic plays in transition. He has the potential to be a difference maker in games, but it will be a matter of consistency for him. This will be a big junior year for Chike as far as projecting what level he will play at in college. </p> <p>2020 6'6 SF <strong>Jackson Galiardi</strong> (Shorewood HS) - Jackson definitely had the highlight of the event, dunking over a 6'7 forward in transition. This explosive leaper is sneaky athletic and can dunk in transition or in traffic too. Jackson is an unselfish player, sometimes to a fault, but he shows flashes of being a really nice college prospect. He would fit in very well with an NAIA or D2 program. </p> <p>2020 6'4 SF <strong>JC Humphrey</strong> (Tahoma HS) - One of the more consistent and solid performers from the event. JC has a strong frame and deceptive skill set that allows him to play multiple positions. Some of the coaches in attendance told me that they would be actively recruiting him, so it was time well spent for the 6'4 senior. *Feature image</p> <p>2020 6'9 C <strong>Kaleb Lichau</strong> (Peninsula HS) - The tallest player in attendance fittingly had the most blocks at the event. Kaleb possesses good length and timing on his shot blocking. He runs the floor pretty well and is a solid rebounder. His range extends to the three line and he showed that he could be a pick and pop threat at the next level. Kaleb holds a couple of small college offers, but remains available for the moment. The biggest thing for him will be how much stronger he gets over the course of the next year. </p>
