On the 22nd, the Top 250 Expo will travel back to Virginia where it will take place at Riverbend High School. In anticipation of the upcoming expos in the area, we’re in the process of highlighting 30 prospects who benefited respectively from last year’s local showcases. Today, we take a look at 2019 forward Jon Hylton of Osbourn.
PRE-CAMP
Jon Hylton has been a vital part of the success of the program at Osbourn for some time now. We knew of him prior to him attending the camp, but he took the opportunity to compete and showcase his skills in front of college coaches and scouts alike.
DURING CAMP
Despite the fact that in camp settings you see a lot of selfish play, Hylton played the right way while still finding a way to get his. He communicated on defense, made smart decisions with the ball, and was in constant motion without the ball.
POST-CAMP
Hylton would go on to have a productive senior campaign for the 18-8 Osbourn Eagles. He consistently scored in double figures while defending at a high level. Hylton is currently enrolled at Moravian Prep in North Carolina and still has tremendous upside moving forward.
