Explodes to the hoop for slams and acrobatic layups. Plus shooter with a sweet lefty stroke. Quick and concise shot with consistent accuracy both pulling up off the bounce and drilling shots off the catch.
Dillon spoke with PHI about his summer with PND.
“It was good. We are trying to get back to where we left off. It didn’t end how we wanted it to, but I think this year we have some guys back and are ready to make a state run.”
What are going to be the strengths of their squad moving forward?
“We have a ton of guards that we can run out and play five out. Not many teams can do that. We have a little size, but we will be able to handle it.”
Dillon chatted with us about where he saw the most growth as a player over the last year.
“Being more confident with myself. Shooting it when I get it. Driving in the lane and going through contact.”
Where do things stand with recruiting?
“I got four D2 offers. The first one was Lewis. Then Michigan Tech. Winona State and Minnesota Duluth have also offered. Interest from Minot State, St. Thomas, Missouri Southern, North Dakota, and North Dakota State.”
He has a couple visits in mind for sure.
“I want to check out Winona State and Minnesota Duluth as they are trying to set dates with me.”
Dillon currently checks in as the #30 overall prospect in the 2020 class and #10 point guard.
