Kaleb Wofford 6’2″ Nixa: It was my first time seeing this talented wing player in live action and I was very impressed with his smooth overall offensive game. He can really stroke it from 3-point range off the catch. When defenders try to close out, he has a very effective shot fake and dribble move to hit the mid-range jumper. He moves and dribbles with purpose and doesn’t waste a lot of motion when getting buckets.
Isaac Haney 6’1″ Dora: The Class 1 star was one of the most impressive offensive players at the elite camp. He displayed knock down shooting from 3-point range and the ability to score off the dribble with floaters, short bank shots and fancy reverse layups that even had his fellow campers crowing with excitement. He lit it up in the championship game of the camp with 25 points, including six 3-pointers. The young man is a bucket. He picked up an Division I offer from Texas State last week.
Cole Farrell 6’4″ Hazelwood Central: The athletic wing was by far the most explosive player at the elite camp and he displayed it on several occasions with a number of big dunks, whether he was driving down the lane or going coast to coast for the throw downs. He has good length and he plays with a high motor to go along with his athleticism.
Brennan Watkins 5’9″ Kearney: The small combo guard had a very productive day as he knocked down 3-pointers from all over the JQH Arena in the scrimmage games. He was hitting long jumpers off the catch and pulling up from well beyond the 3-point line for buckets. He was also making good decisions off the dribble with penetrating moves and some good passes.
Aahmod Scarbrough 6’2″ Hazelwood Central: The physical lefty wing had a productive day with his toughness and high motor at both ends of the court. He was hard to handle when decided to get downhill on the drive to finish at the rim. He enjoys playing at a fast pace, which really suits him well.
Jonathan Dunn 6’5″ Hazelwood Central: A physical post player with strength and athleticism to along with some explosive plays around the basket. He plays much bigger than his actual size with his bounce and high rate of activity. He is a strong rebounder and good finisher inside. He also had some good takes to the basket against opposing bigs as he took advantage of his quickness.
