Donnie Brown, Jr. 6’6″ SEMO Bulls (New Madrid Central): The thick-bodied post player did a nice job during the weekend as his 16U team played up at the 17U division. He displayed good fundamental skills with his ability to post up, catch and score in the paint with both hands. He is very good at establishing position and using his size to his advantage. He also has a nice shooting touch out to 15 feet.
Jonathan Dunn 6’5″ Brad Beal Elite (Hazelwood Central): An explosive young power forward who threw down a number of dunks throughout the weekend for the 16U tournament champions. His strengths at this time are his ability to rebound, run the court and play with a high motor, which makes for some productive moments.
Josh Robinson 6’8″ Brad Beal Elite (Cardinal Ritter): A big-bodied post player who has made a lot of improvement over the course of the summer and it continued during the tournament. with some tough inside play. He has a nice touch around the basket and he did an excellent job of planting his big body in the lane to position himself for many offensive rebounds and put-backs.
Justin Johnson 6’4″ Marcus Denmon Elite (Blue Springs): A young energizer bunny forward who brings a lot of effort and athleticism to a very successful team unit. He is an ideal role player on a team with a lot of perimeter firepower because he used his maximum effort to rebound, play defense in the passing lanes and corral loose balls to help his team.
