CARROLLTON — After announcing the date of his William & Mary official visit, it is safe to say that athletic shooting guard Jake Milkereit is preparing for the end of his recruitment. He currently is sitting on a plethora of offers and discussed a few of the schools who desire a scheduled visit.

IN JAKE'S WORDS

Northern Colorado: "I just like how they’ve been with me since day one. They say I will be an important piece to their team all four years I am there."

Utah State: "They have not offered but they talk to me every day and say I fit how they play. The coaches compare me to past players that have been beneficial to their program which is great to hear."

William & Mary: "I love how I built a really good relationship with each and every one of their coaches. I made a list of seven non-negotiables I need in a school and they check most of those boxes. I'm really excited about the visit."

BOTTOM LINE

Milkereit's recruitment may be the only thing concluding when talking about his game. After starting off the spring at 6-foot-4, the rising senior has grown an inch and a half while also adding muscle to his frame. His body is still developing and he is taking more pride than ever on the defensive end.

Being one of his most recent offers, William & Mary seems to have made up for lost time and put themselves in a comfortable position with Milkereit. The Bishop Lynch/Drive Nation guard is looking for the best fit when it comes to deciding on a school. He plans on signing early in November but is not looking to rush anything as of now.
