Below are some of the prospects who played well during the live period at the West Coast Elite Summer Classic.
Tyler Roberts Tyler Roberts 6'6" | CG Woods Cross | 2020 State UT 6’5 SF 2020 Woods Cross (Salt Lake Bounce 17U)
Roberts had a lot of NAIA and D2 coaches talking due to his size and solid frame. Further, he showed good athleticism and the ability to make impact plays. He has the build of a college wing and played like one for the majority of the weekend. Unfortunately, Roberts went down in the last game with an ankle injury. However, in the games that he played, he did enough to put himself on many coaches’ radars.
Jake Howe Jake Howe 6'3" | SG Woods Cross | 2020 State UT 6’3 SG 2020 Woods Cross (Salt Lake Bounce 17U)
Howe played extended minutes in the last game due to the injury of Howe. He used those minutes well and got into the paint using his strong frame and good size. Further, he shot the basketball well from deep off of the dribble and in catch and shoot situations. Howe and Roberts make Woods Cross a very formidable team.
Spencer Dean Spencer Dean 6'5" | CG Lehi | 2020 State UT 6’5 SF 2020 Lehi (Salt Lake Bounce 17U)
Dean had a solid weekend as well for Bounce. He finished well around the rim and created for himself as well as for his teammates. Much like Howe and Roberts, Dean has a good build and length. He competes at a high level and is willing to make the tough plays that many prospects won’t.
Ajal Juang Ajal Juang 6'3" | SG Judge Memorial | 2021 State UT 6’4 SF 2021 Judge (UBC Elite 16U)
Juang was the most versatile prospect on the 16U team. He played an array of positions offensively and defensively. Further, he scored the basketball from multiple levels on the floor and filled the stat sheets. He was arguably the team’s best rebounder and competed on the defensive end.
Creighton Hansen 6’6 SF 2020 Burley (UBC Elite 17U)
Hansen got a lot of attention this weekend due to his versatile style of play. He scored the basketball well and showed that he can play multiple spots on the floor effectively. He was a force on the glass and had his fair share of highlight plays. He is a balanced prospect who can shoot it as well as finish in the paint. He is definitely worth keeping an eye on for multiple collegiate levels.
