Kansas was the host state, which rightfully had an abundance of talent.

Players got after it in front of coaches and showed what they could do. Different style, but all players had bright moments!

Evaluation:

• Bryce Johnson (6’5” / WG 2020 / Kansas Primetime Ballerz): Bryce Johnson is versatile & has the ability to guard multiple positions, inside or out. Has good length which helps him defend in the half court. A lefty that can score in multiple areas. Johnson showed a smooth stroke at the line, also.

• Amos Alford (6’5” / WF 2020 / Grind Elite): Amos is a solid wing forward that stretches the floor well, knows how to use the complete half court. Decent size, helps with his rebounding abilities inside. Smooth stroke, handle and IQ are positive parts to his game. A tough matchup in the game of his I watched.

• Dakari Middleton (6’3” / WG 2020 / Kansas Primetime Ballerz): Middleton uses good vision on both ends, for example jumping the passing lane. Can finish strong at the hoop through contact, as well as baseline. Decent athleticism that gives his game a boost, also.

• Boston Sanders (6’0” / G 2022 / KC Pacers): Sanders isn’t overly athletic, but his dribbling and decision making opens up a lot. Makes smart decisions of where to move the ball, and when to shoot or give it up. Solid on-ball defender that stays like glue. Not a big time player, but one that makes winning plays, does the small things.

• Jabari Brickhouse (6’0” / PG 2020 / KC Pacers White): One of the primary scorers for his squad, Jabari can definitely get his own bucket. Getting to the cup, finishing tough, is Brickhouse’s go to. A pull up jumper inside the arc, was also often money. Jabari used quick hands on defense to create turnovers and help his team.
