The Dinos Trigonis’ led All-West camp featured more than 100 players from various states across the Western U.S. The two-day event held at Cerritos College drew a strong mix of some of the best guards, wings and big men from the region.

Best Forwards/Centers (Part II)

JC Anthony, 2020, Paraclete

Anthony was one of the more unknown bigs to make a mark at the event. The rising senior stands at a legitimate 6-feet-11 and has soft hands and fundamental footwork that are instrumental in the success of a young big man. Anthony showed some face-up shooting ability to 15-feet, but needs to continue to work on his frame to maximize his potential.

Daniel Rouzan, 2021, Eisenhower

Rouzan made the most out of his paint touches by finishing them off at a high rate. The 6-foot-7 forward made tough catches in tight spots and finished them off with either hand. It was good to see a big man who stayed true to his strengths and patrol the paint rather than trying to step out on the perimeter and do something outside of his comfort zone.

Zach Clemence, 2021, Sunrise Christian (KS)

What stood out most about Clemence was his ability to spread the floor to the 3-point line at 6-feet-10. The rising junior connected on multiple pick-and-pop triples with fluid shooting mechanics and a smooth follow through. Clemence is another guy who could make a big impact at the Division I level if he continues to get stronger and diversify his game with some back-to-the-basket feel.

Amir “Duke” Gipson, 2022, Dorsey

Gipson is an intriguing long term center prospect because of the unteachable things he possesses at a young age. The 6-foot-8 rising sophomore has soft hands and touch around the basket and also displayed a high passing IQ out of both the low and high post areas of the floor.

Andre Harris, 2020, Hillcrest (AZ)

Harris was one of the better passing big men at the event. The wide-bodied 6-foot-6 prospect has a knack for finding slashers off the wing, out of the low and high post or as a point-forward role due to his ball skills and vision. Harris was a load to handle when getting downhill and using his strong frame and good footwork to overpower smaller defenders.
