<p>We will conclude our preview of the battle of Georgia with the preview of the 17u division. This division is loaded with 8 national powerhouse squads. All 8 squads have major D1 prospects on their squads. It would have been nice if AOT played in this event. For some reason, they declined to participate. Let's take a look at the 17u division and all the matchups for the Battle of Georgia. I will also put in parentheses where these teams will play next week during the live period.</p>
<p><strong>GAME ELITE JB ( Adidas Summer Championship) vs Team Forrest (Elite 32 or Best of South) </strong></p>
<p>Game Elite JB has one of the best backcourts on the Adidas circuit, <strong>KD Johnson and Caleb Byrd.</strong> They propelled Game Elite to the Adidas Gold Finale in 2 weeks in California. Add <strong>Sion James</strong> to the mix, Game Elite JB has a nice big 3. Team Forrest is loaded with talent also. One name that has skyrocketed in the rankings this spring is, <strong>6-10 Christian Fussell.</strong> He has picked up offers from a lot of MM schools. Add <strong>Melvin Edwards, Marcellious Lockett, and Trashawn Wilson,</strong> Team Forrest could win this event.</p>
<p><strong>GEORGIA KNIGHTS( Elite 32 or Best of the South) vs Team Georgia Magic (Elite 32)</strong></p>
<p>Two of the best independent teams in the state, battle it out in this contest . The knights have a 3 headed monster with, <strong>Chris Youngblood 6-3, Brandon Stroud 6-6, Ra'sean Frederick 6-5.</strong> Georgia Magic has a Top 100 player for the 2021 class in <strong>Kowacie Reeves.</strong> Reeves, who recently picked an offer from Georgia Tech, can score anywhere on the court. He will be assisted by <strong>Quay Primas, 6-6 interior force. Add Javian Mosley and Bryson Wooten,</strong> the Magic could make some noise during the live period.</p>
<p><strong>ATLANTA CELTICS ( Adidas Summer Championship) vs Warner Robins All Stars ( Elite 32)</strong></p>
<p>This game resembles a NCAA tournament matchup when a 1 seed plays a 16 seed. Warner Robins All Stars, won the Battle of Georgia back in April. <strong>Keshaun Houser</strong> leads the way for the all stars. Atlanta Celtics, has one of the best backcourts on any circuit.</p>
<p><strong>Dwom Odom(Xavier commit), Caleb Murphy, Toneari Lane, and Devion Smith,</strong> lead the way for the Celtics. Warner Robins All Stars won't lay down for the Celtics. This will be a fast paced game with a lot of guard play.</p>
<p><strong>GEORGIA STARS (P.I.T.) VS ATLANTA XPRESS ( UAA FINALS)</strong></p>
<p>The only 1st round matchup that puts two shoe circuit teams against each other is this contest.The stars, hadn't been in the Peach Jam for several years now. They have a nice group of talent with,<strong>Lamar Oden, Naheim Alleyne, and Jordan Meka.</strong> The Xpress is led by, <strong>Jamaine Mann and Kendall Latney.</strong> The Xpress still has a chance to make it in the UAA finals. This game will be a shootout.</p>
