Cameron Harris 6’4″ Cape Elite: A strong, physical young post player who I thought was very impressive throughout the weekend. He used his upper body strength well in the post to knock opponents off balance to score on drop steps and jump hooks. He also had some very nice rim runs to score in transition. He was a very good rebounder who swept the defensive glass.
Jaden McGhee 6’3″ PAC Blue: A talented combo forward who helped his team win the 15U championship. He has a strong body and a versatile skill set which made him a matchup problem. He made some tough catches in traffic with his athleticism and finished well around the basket. He also stepped out to hit jumpers and put the ball on the floor.
Zhamius Smith 6’3″ YSGMH: A beefy post player from Caruthersville who made good use of that size in the low post. He established excellent position in the post and kept defenders on his backside. He also had good catches and footwork inside and could finish well. He can also step outside and hit a catch and shoot 3-pointer.
Ray Holmes 6’2″ Arsenal Hoops Elite: An athletic combo forward from St. Mary’s who had some explosive moments around the basket. He was one of the most impressive offensive rebounders that I watched during the weekend. He used his athleticism to jump over people and get putbacks.
