I made it over to three different gyms as part of the On The Radar Elite 32 on Saturday to check out a full day of matchups.

Here is a look at some names to keep a close eye on.

Alston Andrews, Nick Strachan & Kamron Summers (Gamespeed Elite Blue)

The final game of the night turned out to be a good one between Gamespeed Elite Blue and the Georgia Stunners. Gamespeed Elite Blue has a very dynamic trio in 2020 6'8" Ocoee forward Alston Andrews, 2020 6'4" Rickards guard/forward Nick Strachan and 2020 6'0" First Academy guard Kamron Summers. Andrews was superb around the rim, using his long arms to putback baskets and mix it up against anyone who came near him. Strachan had a big-time dunk in which he took the ball all the way in transition and slammed it home (see video below). He was steady as a shooter and aggressor all night. As for Summers, he is a really reliable 3-point guy who is hard to slow down from the corners. All three players are flying under the radar and should be looked at by Division 1 and Division II schools right now.

Jamil Bowles (Choctaw/1Family)

Playing with 1Family 16U, I came away super impressed by the tenacity and purpose that 2021 6'5' Choctaw guard Jamil Bowles performed. He has seasoned moves as a driver including a reliable hop step and he was attacking time and time again. Bowles is going to be the centerpiece for Choctaw this fall on a younger but still rock solid group up in the panhandle. He'll be a name that pops up on college recruiting boards very soon.

Jalen Cooper (Anclote/Tampa BayHawks)

Plenty of coaches came out to see the Tampa BayHawks 17U group and with 2020 6'6" Anclote guard Jalen Cooper on the floor with some other true athletes, it made sense. He is a super talented shooter who is streaky at times, but when he is hot, there isn't much to do to stop him. Cooper hit 3's over and over on the day in multiple games and looked the part from deep.

David Green (Ocoee/1Family)

Shooting is a specialty for 2020 6'7" Ocoee guard/forward David Green. A super long and strong athlete, a plethora of coaches have been following him all week with 1Family 17U and rightfully so. Green's upside is through the roof and every time, he goes inside to attack, whether he scores or not, college coaches love to see that. I think the sky is the limit for this kid and whoever lands him will have fun developing him further and taking him to the next step of his career.

Wesley Roberts (Palatka/KA Nightmares)

Trying to dunk nearly everything and push the ball in tempo, 2020 6'2" Palatka guard Wesley Roberts is a very intriguing prospect. He hit a halftime buzzer-beating 3 from behind half court, dunked over a defender and was absolutely flying down the floor for the KA Nightmares. Doubling as a football player, it is clear Roberts will be an athlete for one of those sports at the next level.

Ryan Mutombo (Team Forrest/Lovett)

There is a legitimate chance for 2021 6'10" Georgia Lovett forward Ryan Mutombo to be a rock solid in college. The son of former longtime NBA standout Dikembe Mutombo, Ryan is long, fundamental as a mover and good as a finisher near the cup. Mutombo is still raw as a shooter, but in set plays, he can get in good spots on the floor and score buckets with ease.

Two more names to remember

Jordan Johnson (Team Breakdown 16U)

Against OK PWP Red in a night clash at Hiram High, 2021 6'1" Cardinal Newman guard Jordan Johnson was hitting 3's at a high clip. He finished with a team-best 38 points and was certainly a dominant scorer for Team Breakdown 16U. He's a name to remember down in the Royal Palm Beach area.

Brent Reid (Sunlake/PHS Elite)

Skinny and long, 2020 6'10" Sunlake forward catches everyone attention simply with his size. But on Saturday, he was impressive as a shooter. He made a trio of 3's and a few very big drives that he created on his own. He's someone a college coach will certainly take a chance on at the Division II/Division III or NAIA level.

Don’t get in 2020 Rickards forward Nick Strachan’s way when he goes downhill.

Super mean dunk.@ACConnect @NStrachan14 @RickardsBBBall @OntheRadarHoops #Elite32 pic.twitter.com/ZY8v4tu6P5
— ᴊᴀᴋᴇ ᴘᴇʀᴘᴇʀ (@JakePerper) July 14, 2019
