An early look at what's in store for the next rankings update in Wisconsin's 2020 class...

Who will grab the fourth spot?

It just has always felt really fluid between Carter Gilmore (Arrowhead), Isaac Lindsey (Mineral Point), and Dalton Banks (Eau Claire North) at the 4,5, and 6 spots. You can make a really strong case for either of the three at No. 4 and each is so different that it's difficult to split to hairs.

In terms of high major potential/upside, Gilmore certainly stands out in that regard. The 6-foot-7 junior is a versatile point forward who can score off the dribble and create for others. In the right system, he can certainly hold his own at that level.

Banks has had a tremendous spring with D1 Minnesota. On a roster full of talent, Banks has proven to be the straw that stirs the drink.

As for Lindsey, he left a great last impression at Spiece Run N' Slam, lighting up a loaded Indiana Elite squad.

We're going to see both Gilmore and Lindsey this weekend at Wisconsin's team camp and make a judgment then.

High Upside Big Men Emerging

This 2020 class has a number of forward prospects with high ceilings who are starting to show strong flashes. It's always difficult to rank prospects, knowing their best days are still down the road.

Alex Antentokounmpo (Dominican), Alex Leach (Brookfield Academy), Malik Abdul-Wahid (Brookfield Central), Darius Hannah (Milwaukee Academy of Science), Delaware Hale (Sun Prairie), Jacob Newhouse (Kaukauna), and Shilo Bowles (West Allis Central) are all forwards who have impressed this spring and have a chance to develop into terrific college prospects.

Trying to determine which of these prospects are peaking right now and which ones will emerge down the road will be difficult with this crop.
