Camden Gober @PrepHoopsTN Summer Combine Recapture
CLEVELAND, TN–
Camden Gober buried a handful of rhythm three’s in the 5v5 portion that vaulted him into the PREPHOOPSTN ALL-Star Game.
The morning combine results reflected numbers expected of a freshman-to-be with physical maturity on the horizon. Gober excelled on the court.
He sees the floor well and understands the game wonderfully.

NBA Stylistic Comparison: 2009 Cavs season Daniel “Boobie” Gibson
Camden Gober was an anomoly at the camp as one of the smallest yet clearly most skilled in the building. Gober is an invested lover of the game. He gobbles up the details and actually runs with Coach Reggie Tucker’s Fast Break AAU program.
Gober posted a three inch shorter wingspan than his height. NBA players tend to have 4-5 inch longer wingspans than their height. Gober is likely to grow like his older brother and baseball player did.
He needs to to fully benefit from his advancing skills.
Lane agility emerged as Gober’s greatest drill. He recorded a decent 12.81, placing him the middle of the pack at an event filled with high school sophomores and juniors.
Gober’s speed was ok at 3.92 for 3/4 sprint, but the marketable skill remains shooting touch and shot mechanics.
Of six Class of 2023 players in attendance Gober looked the most technically advanced.
Camden Gober joins the Cleveland High School program this fall.
