Indiana Elite SIDE 2020
SIDE is a group that has a lot of under-the-radar guys but some names that are going to become valuable pretty quickly. Daniel Asher and Vincent Pich have really shown out this Spring and helped to make this a very sneaky good team overall.
Player Who Stood Out: Vincent Pich – 6’3 SG 2020 – Beech Grove (IN)
Pich has grown since the last time we saw him and he’s really strong and tough. That combination to go with his scoring ability and handles makes him very intriguing at the next level. He’s the most aggressive player at times and that seems to suit him well. A little better jumper and he’s going to be fun to track in college.
Player Who We Discovered: Isaac Stennett – 5’10 PG 2020 – Beech Grove (IN)
Stennett was a guy we hadn’t seen at all but knew the name of. He was really good this Spring as a shooting guard that can also run the point. He can be a little one-dimensional at times but he’s got a great stroke and range well beyond the arc. Need to see more of him to see if that creation ability will be something moving forward.
Player Who Is Under-The-Radar: Daniel Asher – 6’7 PF 2020 – Roncalli (IN)
Daniel is a really good post prospect who isn’t going to blow you away statistically and part of that is because he isn’t selfish. He’s a good passer out of the post and is also very good on the block as a rebounder. Really strong and physically overpowering when he wants to be. Want to see him stretch more to the wing and use his strength more often.
One More To Know: Brice Langford – 6’9 C 2020 – Perry Meridian (IN)
Brice has always been a solid prospect with a lot of upside. He’s physically overwhelming for defenders but still raw with that skill set. He’s still got time to put things together but this is the time to do it. With not much size in the class, he could really rise up the ranks quickly if he turns it on.
