The Spring AAU season is now over and we wanted to go back and look at some of the top programs and teams in the state. So, here is what we learned, who stood out, and more about these top AAU teams.

Grand Park Premier Black 2020

Another team with a short bench most of the time but their players have been pretty good. Carson Burtron has really stepped up into a major role and has played well. Greenamoyer and Wirts have allowed this team to shoot at a higher level. Have been good but might be better down the road.

Player Who Stood Out: Carson Burtron - 6’2 SG 2020 - Lebanon (IN)

Carson is an interesting guard prospect that continues to look like he is ready to take control. He’s been very good for a while but the ball handling seems to be taking off and he’s becoming more comfortable with his dribble-drive game that is making him look quite a bit more intriguing.

Player Who We Discovered: Max Greenamoyer - 5’11 SG 2020 - University (IN)

Max is a guy who we had heard about during the high school season but have noticed quite a bit this Spring. He’s a really high end shooter with range and a good body on him. Still needs to develop a little more off the ball but has moved into a must track status now.

Player Who Is Under-The-Radar: Derek Jefferson - 6’4 SG 2020 - North Central (IN)

Derek is a bigger guard who seems to be playing at a pretty good level. Has surprised here when we didn’t notice him as much during the high school season. If this can be more of the normal for him, a guy that can handle and create a bit of offense, then he’s got to go up on our list.

One More To Know: Mitchell Wirts - 6’4 PF 2020 - Indianapolis Homeschool Wildcats (IN)

Wirts is a guy that has the game but could use a little more size. Really good shooter for a guy that is probably more of a 4 than a 3 at this point. But at 6-4+, he’s a guy that can also create some mismatches with that stretch ability.
