Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at some of the top in-state standouts from the first session of the EYBL.
Caleb Love 6’3″ Brad Beal Elite: The 2020 guard from CBC was one of the top scorers of the first session, averaging 19.5 points while shooting 52 percent from the field and 79 percent from the free throw line. Love is also displaying his playmaking chops as he also averages 5.0 assists a game.
Animu Mohammed 6’5″ Boo Williams: The 2021 wing standout from Greenwood shined in opening weekend as he led Boo Williams to a 3-1 record. Mohammed averaged a team-high 15 points and 10 rebounds a game while shooting 51 percent from the field. He also averaged two steals during the weekend.
Luke Kasubke 6’5″ MoKan Elite: The 2020 wing from Chaminade had a solid weekend in helping MoKan to a 2-2 record. He averaged a team-high 12.5 points a game while shooting 46 percent from the field and 34 percent from 3-point range. He had a game-high 19 points in a victory over the Albany City Rocks in the final game of the weekend.
Cam’Ron Fletcher 6’7″ Brad Beal Elite: The 2020 standout from Vashon averaged 12 points and a team-high 7.5 rebounds a game while shooting 45 percent from the field. He was an outstanding finisher with several dunks on the offensive glass and in transition.
Ryan Kalkbrenner 7’0″ Mac Irvin Fire: The 2020 Trinity High standout displayed his rim-protecting talents on the national stage as he averaged 3.5 blocks a game to lead the EYBL. Kalbrenner also averaged 9.5 points and 7.0 rebounds while shooting 54 percent from the field and 84 percent from the free throw line. He also picked up new offers from Missouri, Stanford and Creighton.
