What prospects from the state of Illinois did the best job on the boards over the weekend at Run N Slam? Here we break down the highest level rebounders at the event!

Kyle Thomas (Illinois Wolves 15U)

Thomas has legit size already early in the process and the 2022 center rebounded well in traffic snatching them with his strong hands.

Anes Davenport (Mac Irvin Fire 16U)

Davenport was a pleasant surprise with how well he boarded throughout the event. High energy forward that crashes the glass on both ends with a lot of aggressiveness.

Jack Weber (Illinois Irish 17U)

Weber is powerful post that was a strong performer on the glass for the Irish using his strength and boxed out opponents for boards.

Christian Shumate (Young & Reckless 17U)

Shumate is an elite level athlete and he used that to his full advantage being bouncy on the glass high pointing them in traffic along with several put backs.

Frank Jakubicek (Quad City Elite 17U)

Such a productive post is this Cary Grove big man. He rebounded at a very high rate when we saw QCE play against a big Indy Heat frontline.

Darrell Reed (Young & Reckless 16U)

Reed is a prospect that has the look of a big time rebounder. Strong and broad shoulders. He was very good rebounding on Saturday being physical mauling his opponents inside for rebounds.

Kanye Smith (Meanstreets 15U)

Smith projects as a wing, but we really liked what he brought to the table as an energy rebounder flying in for boards from out of nowhere in many cases.
