The Midwest Grind Session is a wrap. A May weekend of basketball at a high level. Here's who stood out!

Top performers in Wichita in the 17s division:

Sean O'Dwyer - Math Fab Steelers 6'6

Good small forward with handles, and a proven jumper from wing. Sean is crafty and utilizes fakes to score.

Jalen Smith - KS Hoggs 5'11

Floor general on the offensive end and can really change a game from relentless defensive pressure. Impressive transition scorer.

Caleb McGill - Colorado Chaos 6'8

His combination of size and motor is a tough matchup. Relentless on the glass, rarely has his shot blocked, and able to score in bundle.

Gethro Muscadin - TeamGriffin 6'10

The best big prospect in Wichita, was very good on the boards, range to about 10 feet but an extremely difficult matchup further inside.

Alton Easley - KS Primetyme Ballerz 5'11

Best facilitator on the court all weekend, sharing the rock to teammates all over. Really in tune with the intangibles, too, leading his squad vocally.

Alex Littlejohn - KS Pray n Play 6’4

Scores inside with nice footwork, and fakes. Also has an impressive and developing outside game, showcasing a smooth corner shot that must be respected by the defense.

Quinton Donahoe - KC Pacers White 5’11

Love this guy with speed, and then another gear attacking the rim. Defenders had difficulty staying in front of him in the halfcourt and was a nightmare in transition

Trey Reid - NLHA Gaddis 6’0

Heady floor leader who was fantastic in the open floor as a facilitator.

Christian Cook - TeamBuddybuckets 6’2

A commited and ferocious defender who takes pride on that end. Multi-faceted offensive player, too. Gets to the line and knocks em down from deep.

Traejon Davis - Team Buddybuckets 6’6

He's a winner. This guy is consistent and heady - always seemed to be in the right place making the right play. He makes others better and was a great offensive rebounder.

Conner Calavan - Tulsa Hawks 6’4

Scored effortlessly on a nice range of shots all weekend. Legitimate scoring threat from all three levels. Good combo of size and skill on the wing.
