KC Classic Recap: Class of 2020 Wings

<p>Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at the top Class of 2020 Forwards from last weekend's KC Classic in Lawrence, KS.</p> <p>Kolten Griffin 6'4" Team YOBO: An athletic and versatile wing player from St. Joe Lafayette who could create matchup problems. He used his size well in the paint to get buckets and offensive rebounds against smaller defenders. He could also go on the perimeter and make plays off the dribble and knock down jumpers on the move. Helped lead his team to a district championship during the high school season.</p> <p>Kobe Clark 6'6" Missouri Gol1ve: The versatile wing player from Vashon has the ability to do so many things to help his team be successful. He is one of the best offensive rebounders in the state with his athleticism and tenacity. He also has the ability to play the point forward role with his ability to score and facilitate. He has already received Division I offers and plenty of interest.</p> <p>Ben Palacios 6'4" Marcus Denmon Elite: A very efficient offensive player who has the ability to score in a variety of ways. He was one of the best I've watched during the weekend at moving without the basketball and still getting his buckets. He is always cutting hard and in constant motion. Plus, he is also very skilled with the ball in his hands. Attend St. Michael.</p> <p>D'Anthony Pennington 6'2" Team KC Black: A long and lean wing player who loves to get buckets and can get them in bunches when he is on his game. He loves to pull up and launch a high-arching 3-pointer which he can knock down with excellent accuracy. </p> <p>Trayvon Parker 6'3" KC Premiere: It was my first time seeing this talented guard from Raytown and I was impressed with his overall offensive ability. He has a strong build and he can get to the basket and create plays through contact. He can knock down jumpers on the move and also drop dimes to open teammates.</p> <p>Nakai Johnson 6'0" Missouri Flight-Epps: A smaller wing player from Parkview who displayed some nice knockdown shooting ability in the games that I watched him. He had a stretch where he made three 3-pointers in a row and four out of five. He was moving well and coming off screens to get himself open.</p>
