Recruting Roundup!

<p><em>April has just gotten started but there has already been a good amount of recruitment movement and updating going on. We know it’s difficult to keep up with everything that may be happening so we just want to give you a quick overview of what’s going on how and who is going where!</em></p> <p>St. Andrews University has hit the Fayetteville area recruiting trail pretty hard as they not only secured a commitment from Freedom Christian SG <strong>Brandon Murray</strong> but also a commitment from Northwood Temple Guard <strong>Charles Page</strong>. Page played well For Northwood Temple as the season went on and he saw more minutes for the Eagles, which included an appearance in the state championship game.</p> <p>Moravian Prep &amp; Team Loaded Wing <strong>Josh Hall</strong> has picked up an offer from NC State while on an unofficial visit this week. Hall is a player that has seen his stock rise in a major way over the past month and it will only continue as he has plenty of the tools that the big time programs love.</p> <p>Southern Lee HS Unsigned Senior Guard <strong>Khalil Ridges</strong> has picked up interest from FTCC, NC Wesleyan, Elizabeth City and Chowan University. Ridges is a player that had a big time season for Southern Lee and bring maximum effort to both ends of the floor, he can get to the cup but also has a nice midrange game.</p> <p>Hendersonville HS Forward <strong>Ben Beeker</strong> is headed to Furman to play college basketball next season, which takes one of the better big men in the state off the board. He has the size, skillset and even academics that coaches at the college level love, and his recruitment seemed to be heating up as time went on.</p> <p>Point Guard <strong>Shawn Walker Jr</strong> who played his high school basketball in the state of NC for a few years recently made his commitment to George Washington. Walker is a taller guard with a longer wingspan and a very good IQ for the game, the son of a coach, we are confident that his transition to the next level will be pretty smooth.</p> <p>Apex Friendship/Big Shots Elite 2020 Forward <strong>Nick Farrar</strong> picked up an offer from Eastern Michigan, Farrar is a player that put up monster numbers last season and is off to a good start this spring.</p> <p>Cape Fear Academy 2020 Forward <strong>Georges Lefebvre</strong> picked up an offer from American University this week. The 6’9 prospect has put together some outstanding play for his high school squad and will be one to keep an eye on this spring and summer.</p> <p>Pamlico County Unsigned Senior Guard <strong>George Jones</strong> picked up an offer from St. Andrews University, Jones has a next level frame and showed at Fab 40 Camp that he can compete with quite a few of the top guards in ENC.</p>
